For our Groningen office, we at Vicoma are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer. As a Senior Structural Engineer you are responsible for the execution of projects for various clients within the process industry and energy market.
Some of your tasks
You take the lead in projects and ensure, together with your colleagues, that we deliver within the agreed deadline and according to the prevailing requirements. Your role within the projects includes the design of steel and civil structures, drafting and assessing calculations and drawings and managing draftsmen within the team. You will also be responsible for the planning, cost control and reporting of your projects. In addition, you will maintain contact with clients.
What are you bringing?
- You have at least an HBO diploma in Construction / HTI concrete and steel
- At least 15 years of experience as an all-round constructor within industry and non-residential construction
- Good constructive, mechanical and (especially) practical insight.
- Making design, main and detailed calculations (also using calculation software) is tailor-made for you
- Extensive experience in checking calculations and drawings. In addition, you have frequently drawn up technical reports
- National and international regulations hold no secrets for you
- You master Office 365 and the necessary drawing and calculation software within the field
- Good command of both the Dutch and English language, spoken and written
