In the position of Architectural BIM modeller, you will work independently or be managed by an Architect or Project Manager. You will work intensively with other departments and branches, which means you will have to deal with many different perspectives.
Some of your activities
As an Architectural BIM Modeler, you will work on various assignments at Vicoma. You will be responsible for creating 3D architectural models and technical drawings of mainly utility buildings. We therefore consider it important that you have knowledge of the building process, common building methods, applied materials and detailing. In addition, we consider it desirable that you have some experience in cooperating with structural engineers and advisers in the field of building-related matters (including installations and fire safety). Besides preparing 3D models and technical drawings, you will also check them.
What are you bringing?
- You have a Bachelor degree working and thinking level in the field of construction, supplemented with experience in industry and non-residential construction.
- Experience gives you a good insight into the technical content and commercial implementation aspects of projects.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements such as “Building Decree” and Building Permits.
- Knowledge of MS Office and drawing and design software within the field (Revit, AutoCAD and Solibri Model Checker or Navisworks).
- Good command of both the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.

- Practical attitude and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Accurate and structured.
- Interested in developments within the field
