What can you expect?

Your role

As a Senior Process Engineer, you are the specialist in process engineering within complex industrial projects. You independently design, calculate, and specify process installations and equipment. You advise clients and colleagues on complex technical challenges and take a leading role within multidisciplinary project teams.

You operate at the intersection of engineering, safety, and quality, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement and safeguarding of technical standards within the organization.

What will you be doing?

• Designing and calculating complex process installations and systems;

• Advising on complex process engineering challenges;

• Preparing and performing design verifications;

• Reviewing own work and that of fellow engineers and documenting the results in control and verification documents;

• Chairing and facilitating HAZOP studies;

• Acting as lead engineer and providing operational leadership within projects;

• Preparing progress, quality, and cost reports;

• Producing technically substantive reports;

• Initiating, developing, and maintaining discipline-specific standards;

• And ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE/HSE) regulations.

What do you bring with you?

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar);

• Relevant experience in within the discipline is an nice additional benefits;

• VCA VOL certified (or willing to obtain this certification);

• Strong command of both Dutch (C1) and English (B2);

• Affinity with sustainability and innovation within the industrial sector;

• Willingness to (occasionally) work at client locations.
