Job description
Inspecting buildings, concrete structures, docks, steel structures, and pipeline bridges, assessing repair or maintenance costs, and advising on possible sustainable improvements or options for new construction. You are involved in all phases of the project, from inspection and reporting to creating technical descriptions. If you wish to expand this role to include drawing, calculation, and design work, we are certainly open to that. As a construction inspector, you work closely with colleagues from the Civil Department and various clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports.
Job requirements
- You have an MBO or HBO diploma in Construction or Civil Engineering, supplemented with at least 3 years of relevant experience as an Inspector or, for example, as a Construction Draughtsman where you have also carried out inspection work
- Experience in the field of sustainability is an advantage
- Familiar with regulatory requirements such as NEN 8700 and TNO report 2008-D-R0015/B and/or customer requirements (or you are at least willing to learn them)
- Knowledge of the MS Office package, such as Word and Excel
- Good command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written
