In the Consultancy department, you work on, for example, an investment plan, technical concept or tender for the next phase of a project. You focus on defining the scope, weighing strategic risks, analysing the payback period and creating the business case. You also take into account matters such as the impact of (future) regulations, sustainability goals, operational reliability and safety. If there are multiple options to achieve the set goal, you are the one who can advise the customer. For example, on which solution is the most sensible investment or best fits the customer's long-term strategy.

What are the employment conditions for a Consultant?
Vicoma offers an extensive package of employment conditions. For example, with full-time employment you get 35 days off, 22 vacation days and 13 days off. But it is also possible to work part-time at Vicoma. Can I also work from home as a Consultant?
Yes, at Vicoma we work hybrid and flexible. The guideline is that with full-time employment you work from home for a maximum of 2 days. That is why we facilitate this with the necessary resources, such as a desk, office chair, screen (including USB-C docking station), keyboard and computer mouse.
What training do I need as a Consultant?
To work as a Consultant at Vicoma, you preferably have a university working and thinking level. In addition, a technical education is required, for example a Technical Business Administration course.
Can I continue to grow as a Consultant?
Absolute. You can grow in a technical field, but you can also grow in the direction of Project Management or as a manager. It just depends on where your ambition lies.
