As a Designer Electrical & Instrumentation, you are responsible for independently preparing – or coordinating the preparation of – detailed E&I engineering documents. You work closely with Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers and translate designs into clear drawings, schematics and technical documentation.

You contribute directly to the quality, feasibility and execution of industrial projects.

What will you do (among other things)?

• Translating E&I designs into drawings, schematics and technical documentation;

• Developing detailed engineering for power, lighting, instrumentation and control systems;

• Performing simple to more complex E&I-related calculations.

You will also support projects by:

• Assisting, under supervision, in preparing work scopes, hours and cost specifications;

• Preparing basic execution budgets;

• Documenting and archiving project documentation.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to independently carry out site measurements and surveys.

Candidate profile

We are interested in professionals who identify with our core values:

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or a similar field);

• Starter or (almost) graduated; prior work experience is not required;

• In possession of a VCA-VOL certificate or willing to obtain one;

• Excellent command of the Dutch language (C1) and good command of English (B2);

• Strong command of both Dutch and English;

• Affinity with sustainability and innovation within the industry;

• Willingness to occasionally work at client locations.
