As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you independently design, calculate and specify electrical and instrumentation installations for industrial projects. You act as a specialist within your discipline and contribute to technically complex challenges. Within projects, you are responsible for technical quality, progress and coordination with stakeholders.
You work closely with fellow engineers, project managers, clients and suppliers in multidisciplinary teams.
What will you (among other things) be doing?
Designing and engineering E&I installations (power, lighting, instrumentation and control systems);
Preparing technical specifications, calculations and design verifications;
Advising on complex technical issues within the E&I discipline;
Reviewing your own work and that of colleagues;
Contributing to HAZOP studies (project-dependent).
You will also work in a project-based environment, including:
Collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams;
Coordinating with clients and suppliers.
In addition, you will be responsible for reporting and quality, including:
Preparing progress, quality and cost reports;
Ensuring technical quality and compliance with applicable standards;
Developing and maintaining discipline-specific E&I standards.
Candidate profile

Job requirements
A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or a similar field);
Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience is required;
Strong technical insight within electrical & instrumentation;
Experience working in a project-based environment;
Knowledge of AutoCAD, ELCAD and/or EPLAN is an advantage;
In possession of a VCA-VOL certificate or willing to obtain one;
Excellent command of the Dutch language (C1) and good command of English (B2);
Affinity with sustainability and innovation within the industrial sector;
Willingness to occasionally work on client sites;
Analytical, accurate and strong communication skills.
