What can you expect?

Your role

As a Senior Design Engineer Piping, you are responsible for independently designing and detailing piping installations within industrial projects. You translate client requests, P&IDs, and work scopes into technically sound 3D designs and ensure the delivery of high-quality project deliverables.

You work largely independently, maintain direct contact with clients, and proactively propose solutions and design decisions.

What will you be doing?

• Independently developing 3D piping designs based on P&IDs and work scopes;

• Creating and checking isometrics;

• Performing 3D model reviews;

• Working with 3D scans and incorporating site information into the model;

• Coordinating with clients on technical questions and design decisions;

• Collaborating with disciplines such as Process and Structural;

• Checking the quality and completeness of deliverables;

• And monitoring and managing your own planning and hours.

What do you bring with you?

• A completed MBO-level education (e.g. Mechanical Engineering or similar);

• Extensive experience as a Piping Designer / Design Engineer is considered a strong asset is an nice additional benefits;

• VCA VOL certified (or willing to obtain this certification);

• Experience with Plant 3D is a plus;

• Willingness to learn Navisworks on the job;

• Strong command of both Dutch (C1) and English (B2);

• Affinity with sustainability and innovation within the industrial sector;

• And the willingness to (occasionally) work at client locations.
